Special Weather Statement in effect for:
  • Lachute area

First significant snowfall. What: Snowfall amounts of about 10 cm, possibly reaching 15 cm locally. When: Wednesday and Thursday. Where: The Outaouais, Laurentians, Mauricie and northern Quebec City regions. Snowfall amounts will be highest over higher terrain. Additional information: A low pressure system from the canadian Prairies will move through the Great Lakes and bring snow over Southern and Central Quebec. The rush hour Wednesday afternoon may be impacted, especially in the Outaouais region. Quickly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Rush hour traffic could be significantly impacted in urban areas. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
