SNOWFALL WARNING

Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected. Where: Cranbrook and Kimberly. When: Today to early Sunday morning. Remarks: Another fall storm is affecting southern BC today. While the system is forecast to remain offshore over the next few days, associated bands of precipitation will bring around close to 10 cm of snow tonight near Cranbrook and Kimberly. The heaviest snowfall is expected this afternoon and tonight for the area. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
